WOODFIELD FALL SOCIAL - NOV. 2023 - TACO FIESTA. OLE!
(We also had a social this past April 2024 - but were having too much fun to stop for photos. LOL.)

Quick note - if we didn’t capture you on camera, apologies. We were too busy eating all the great food and desserts and visiting with neighbors new and old. Thanks to everyone who planned the event, purchased, cooked & chopped the food, transported tents and tables, made flyers and signs, brought their games and joined in the fun. There were so many who supported this effort in various ways! Luckily, the weather held (despite threats of rain), and we are grateful so many neighbors came out for the afternoon. BTW, the video omits photos of the many cute kids who were there. And, the party was totally funded by the social committee members and your neighbors—no funds from the HOA’s budget were used. And what do we say to that? Ole!

How often do you see a bicycle built for two, decked out in orange lighting, with its riders handing out lottery tickets to the neighbors? Thank you Rick and Leslie Weidenhoeft for spicing up this year’s Halloween! (Side note - Halloween is mostly all about the kids, but because we generally don’t post children’s photos here, we’ll “settle” for this fun memory.)

WOODFIELD SOCIAL - APRIL 2023 - WHAT A FUN DAY OUT!

Our April Social had it all - over 50 neighbors came out and brought the kids. There was great food, good weather, fun and games. Kiddos enjoyed the pool and playground. A fun day, all around. Thanks to everyone who came out, donated table or tent, brought delicious side dishes or desserts, or participated in some other way. Good job Social Committee. Special thanks to our grill masters David Yuen and Greg Thisse; Kim Thisse for shopping for the burgers and dogs; Rick Wiedenhoeft for hand-walking invitations around the neighborhood and all those who helped out or came out.
